Mixed media doll artist, Sherry Ways has always been artistic and has a knack for creating and combining color. As early as she can remember, she was drawing, writing, sketching pictures and creating colorful pieces. Her artistic creativity left her for 25 years until she decided to take an art workshop with her mentor and doll artist extraordinaire, Francine Haskins, in Washington, DC about 4 years ago. From this, she realized through feedback from others, that she had a talent for making cloth dolls. |
