Louise Robinson.       I began painting at the age of twelve. Early in my training I studied with R.D. Chafont who introduced me to various media. After completing high school, I entered Corcoran School of Art majoring in commercial art. I was awarded a scholarship from Corcoran after three semesters of study.

Several critics have compared my style to that of Pierre Bernard, the French impressionist. I view my style as focusing on colors and patterns. I have achieved success through both group and individual shows. I have been a participating member of the Prince George's Artists Association since 1978 acting as its president on several occasions. I feel that art has its "source" residing in the creative mind.
