Zenobia Rickford.      The desire to express emotions and feelings effectively through line, shape, and color, spawned my interest in Art many years ago. I have continued to develop my personal Artwork by experimenting with a variety of materials and media. Since I have been working with children for over thirty-five years, my art reflects the vibrancy of youth demonstrated in the rich colors, the mystery and uncertainty of the inexperienced souls in its themes, and the freewheeling spirit of the unfettered in its creativity. Teaching and Art have helped me to define and express my feelings and perceptions of my world in a healthy, socially acceptable way. I strive for the best, and doing my best is a noble expression of the human spirit.
