Charles Casto works in acrylics and uses hard line formats. He was a student of Anne Truitt, a foremost minimalist and Nicholas Krushenick a leading proponent of hard line and non-representational paintings.

His present work is hard line and sometimes geometrical in nature. Colors tend to be on the warm side and tend to support a mediterrainian point of view.
