Tom Ayers.      My son asked me what an artist was, and I told him something like this: An artist sees things differently than other people; he sees things they don't see. An artist's job is to help them see those things.

For me personally, I attempt to reveal emotional states, certain philosophical concepts, and gleanings from Scripture in terms of abstract painting, classical music, photography, and poetry with the goals of discovering my niche in life, enriching others, and glorifying God.

Tom Ayers is many things: human being, man, Christian, educator, chemist, artist, husband, and father. He lives in a chaotic household with his wife and five children and feels like taffy most of the time.
